Catching Up...

It has been two months now since we last posted and updated our blog. Tragically, our regular blogging came to a sudden stop two months ago with the death of our blogger Liesel's first baby boy.  While this is not necessarily a category that fits here, we named our blog in honor of our three little boys.  In a way, this post is in memorial to him.

Stillbirth is something that is, unfortunately, more common than any of us think.  Across the world there are an estimated 2 million stillbirths each year.  It is kind of a taboo subject, something no one likes to talk about.  However; through this experience we have found that sharing stories is a way to heal, and hearing of others that have gone through it and survived are inspirational and brings much-needed hope.  Liesel has shared her story in her own personal blog.  While originally only meant for friends and family, it has taken off and been shared by many who have experienced this in some way.  If you would like to read her story, the link is here:  Life's Little Surprises.

While we will never forget our little angel Easton, we are now ready to get back into the groove of things.  In the next couple of months we hope to have a brand new, updated design; but until then we will get back to posting what we are doing in our classrooms, sharing our ideas, and learning from all of the other wonderful teachers out there. Thank you to everyone for your support and we can't to get back to doing something we love so much!

Stay tuned for a new post tomorrow!

Love,
Katelyn, Abby & Liesel

  1. Blessings to all of you. Thank you for putting yourselves out there and sharing your hearts with us. In the rat race of life, we tend to forget what really matters and to remember we are all on this crazy "edventure" together.

    Much love and hugs,

    1. Thank you so much! It's a scary thing to share, but we have to realize we all go through personal tragedies, hardships, and tough times outside the classroom. The "edventure" we are all on connects us. You are so sweet to think of us. It is much appreciated!
