Holiday Homework Bundle

When I first started teaching, I wasn't sure whether or not I should give homework over the break. Some teachers did while others did not.  Some parents asked for it.  Others detested it. However; two weeks is a long time to be out of school.  Can you say, dilemma?

Well, I decided that the best means of solving the problem and making everyone happy was to send home an extra credit packet designed to give a little extra reinforcement.  Something that would be accessible to students on all ability levels.  Something that required reading. And something that had at least a couple elements of fun involved.
