Monday Made It - Mini Bulletin Boards

Let's face it...sometimes the bulletin boards at school are WAY too big to hang just a few items from.  We found an image on Pinterest for these mini bulletin boards and found them way too cute not to make.  They are perfect for your classroom or even at home.  Make a "Wall-of Fame" board, hang a piece of shining work, or use with pictures...and share with us what you did with them!

Quick and easy tutorial:

1.  Gather your supplies - we used cork-board trivets from IKEA (also spotted at Walmart), some small pieces of fabric (size depending on amount needed to cover the trivet) and a hot glue gun!

2. Place the trivet face down on the fabric and using it as a guide, cut the fabric in the shape of the trivet leaving at least an inch of overlay.

3.  Place a small line of hot glue as close to the edge of the front of the trivet as possible.  Pull the fabric tightly over and secure.

4. Pull the fabric taunt and use the hot glue gun to fasten the fabric to the back of the trivet.  Make sure any wrinkles are smoothed out.

5.  Voila...your new mini-bulletin board! All you need now are some push pins and some things to hang :)
